My question is going that short Tory are you going to have to change the Pinion angle of the rear axle? And what happened to using the rounded rear fenders from the big truck place?
Mongo | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 474 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 474 | I shortened the forward drive shaft and moved the hanger bearing forward. The position of the hanger bearing is the same as the smaller trucks with the same open drive shafts.Used the factory assembly manual for the measurement reference .
The rounded rear fenders looked to modern the more I thought about it .I wanted it to look like it came from the 50's still .I hope to have the fenders finished this weekend to see how it will look ? | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 474 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 474 | Didn't get much done on the fenders this weekend. But I did get the GMC 302 finally !
