I have a 230 and the long tube headers wouldn't fit in my 72, but they would fit on my 59 1 ton with a 292. They foul the suspension on the 72, but the 59's straight axle is not in the way (or at least it doesn't look like it will - part of the 59's upgrade once the 72 is did) | | |

You can't have true tuned length headers on a siamesed port 235 because the exhaust pulses on the siamesed port are asymmetrical. If they are advertised as tuned length, it could only be tuned to the length appropriate to one of the shared cylinders, but not both, on each siamesed port. Do it only if you just like the look, not with the expectation of improved performance. | | |
