I've been spinn' wrenches since I took apart my dads mower and found out how fond he was of it. I've been workin on cars and trucks for about 20yrs. Professionally (HA) for about 10. A few of the 10 was in a custom shop were I got my first '50 for just one Franklin. And it is rough. Buildable, but rough. I've been collecting parts for a few yrs now. I wanted to turn it into a 4wd trail/recovery rig. I just recently got the 4400 from an old cotton farmer's widow, whos famlies owned it since new. I got all the paper work and the truck is all there. Just a lot of surface rust. And that was only 2 Bens. My plan is to make a wrecker out of it. I shall keep ya'll posted on the process.
And remember, this fix is only temporary, unless it works.
