Well I guess this will be an update for the truck as we've moved from the big city to a bit slower lifestyle ... Lac La Hache , B.C. to be exact . The old '58 now sits in front of the Rangeland motel (shameless plug)which we just bought .

It does get attention as I had 3 offers to buy as soon as I displayed it .Lol

Here are pictures and videos from the truck and the move.

I'm glad the move is finally over (took us 2 days to load the van)I'm still sort of attached to the city until I finish fulltime Motorcycle mechanic course (The rad shop shut down for a lack of business and we're all getting on in years ,after 32 years in the biz I needed a change). If you come up to the Caribou , drop in and say hi ,we'd be glad to have you . plenty of parking wink

Hello fellow truckers , on my last update I had mentioned our purchase of a motel in the Cariboo and was preparing for the big move from Vancouver to Lac La Hache BC . The move went well and we are settled in and in full operation (here's my shameless plug )at the Rangeland motel on Hwy 97 . If any BC Bolters ever get up this way we will give our special rate . Here's a few pics I'd like to share . Cheers , George Lee .

Congrats... I have no idea where Lake La Hache is, but hopefully you have lots of new customers who do and it works out well for you. The old '58 looks right at home up there! wink

Thank you for the kind words .
All I have to do now is to build a garage to start working on the truck again . smile
Hey Hankrags , what kit did you use for the power steering conversion ? I have the GM power steering box & pump . And which pitman arm did you use ? The box on the outside of the frame looks pretty tight when you make a right turn , how is the clearance at full right lock ? I know a million questions hehe .
