Please join us in welcoming Tim "tclederman" Lederman to the Stovebolt Staff as he has graciously and enthusiastically accepted Tony's invitation to co-moderate the Panels & 'Burbs forum!

Tim shouldn't be a stranger to most of us -- he's been with us a long time and has been a friend and adviser to most of us on a wide variety of Stovebolt projects.

Thanks Tim and welcome to the Staff!!

Regards,
John 'n Peg

All right Tim. It's a big job. That Chipmunk character will keep you busy.

Thanks, everyone. Tony is still in charge here, as far as I am concerned.

This is an easy forum to help "moderate" because most posts are "on-topic". And, there are are only three rules: "no advertising, flaming, or off-topic posts"

Tony (and The Management) stated the above rules and Tony has successfully seen to it that we adhere to them (and we seem to do so, most of the time).

no advertising - posts with purposeful or with inadvertent buy/selling/trading/negotiating will be quickly moved to a Swap Meet forum (with Tony's approval).

no flaming - this does not seem to happen here - no politics, no ethnic/nationality derision, and no personal attacks. If this happens, posts will be quickly edited or deleted (with Tony's approval and with a PM to the poster, copied to The Management).

off-topic posts - if a post belongs in another forum, it will be moved there. The post might be so "off topic" that it belongs in the Greasy Spoon; however, the post might receive more/better responses in another of the specialty fora or one of the more general fora.

Alvin, you will never be a bother. I have never seen you be mean (or a bother) here. I'll bet many of us playfully (and relentlessly) tormented teachers when we were in school.
