Hi - just posting first here as it seems the thing to do! Been lurking for a while. You guys have so much good info! Been working on my 59 Chevy 3/4-ton stepside longbed daily driver for about a year now. We refer to it as Patch - a name carried over from the previous owner. Finally hoping to get some new paint on it this summer.

I child-proofed my house, but my kids keep finding their way back in.

Hi guumbah, welcome to the site. You are correct about the good info, I've learned a lot. Hopefully that paint gets done this year!

Guumbah, welcome from Scotland.
My '50 was 'liberated' from your fair state.
I think it misses the Ca. sunshine though!

Try and post some pics of 'Patch' when you get a chance.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Get yourself a picture host account (Photobucket or Flickr) and do a DITY post. Then you'll be on the list for getting your truck in the main Stovebolt Gallery.

Welcome to the Stovebolt!!!
