For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 20 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2010 Posts: 20 | Who: Ted, 41, from the Metro Detroit Area. I am a Senior Technician at an automotive braking systems manufacturer. I am responsible for building test cars, running the tests, fabbing test stands and running our two brake dynos. I currently drive a 1959 VW 3/4 ton pickup (loaded for the trip to Maine for our wedding). It is 99% correct and 100% ugly, but it runs anytime it is needed. I am currently ressurecting a 1978 passenger van for family use. The Reason: I am here to research the Deco trucks. The wife has fallen in love with them and wants me to get her one. So now I get to learn about old GM trucks.
Ted My ride but looking for a Deco Bolt for the wife.

I like the old VW, not too many of them around anymore.

Your better half is obviously a woman of good taste! This forum is simply the best source for all things Stovebolt. Good luck with your search. I've definately got this truck thing in my blood ... my DNA sequence has torque settings"Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind" Winston Churchill.
