I purchased this truck in January 2010 and she is slowly coming together as a work truck. She was living on Vashon Island, Washington for a while but has found a new home here in Bellevue, Washington. I am reverting her back to a 6-volt system and will most likely put a flatbed on her. Here are some pics:

<webmaster, please embed a pic or two here>

I'll let you know how the project moves along and hopefully more pics after she gets a new prom dress (paint).

'She' looks real nice Scout....

Her current 'prom dress' doesn't look too shabby in your pics!

Does she really require a new one?

Either way,she's a great old truck! thumbs_up

Those stovebolt gallery links are to his 54. Let's see the 53.

FriedGreenTmater is correct --> the links are to my last truck; a '54 GMC Model 100.

I was hoping the webmaster would email me so I could provide him with a couple of pics like I did when I first signed up. But no luck so far.

I'm open to suggestions on how to get a pic or two of my '53 gal.

You will need to post the pictures on some photo hosting site like photobucket then post direct links.

Start by reading this page.

That didn't work. It just gives an index with no links.

There are quite a few photos there, you just have to scroll down. That is quite the pcv setup. I wonder where the intake is. That radio looks something like the early 40s under dash radio. It looks like a good old truck to me.

It still just gives me a list. it is longer now but there is no scroll. It is just a list of # 1953 Chevrolet 3600 22 times. Maybe it's a firefox thing.

It is a firefox thing, I can see them with MS internet explorer

Thanks for the feedback.

I'll try to clean up the webpage as time allows. I think I used some IE specific tags or something like that.

She should clean up just fine, but I gotta make sure she's a lady before I spring for a new prom dress.
