For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 76 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 76 | http://s192.photobucket.com/albums/z97/CingCurt/1965%20Chevy%20Truck/1965 Short bed Fleetside 4 wheel drive (K1445) Life spent only in Wilton, NH. Owned by service garage when new. Many of the employees of the garage are still in town. Truck is original except that the bed was Fleetside and I am returning it to a Fleetside. Purchased Dec. 2006 from third owner for $500. Have had a lot of fun finding parts. Truck was a plow truck, so frame was a real treat... 292 4-speed, big back window, custom package, cab lights. Original wheels were painted the same color as the truck. Have discovered that option was $3 per wheel. All sheet metal is complete and painted. Assembly coming soon. At car and truck shows vehicles can be dedicated to a person who is deceased. Often wondered what that was about. Our daughter was tragically lost in a car accident 8/11/2008, my dad died 8/3/2009. Now the vehicle is dedicated to these two. Sorry no photos between purchase and the current state, work continued but photos were not easy to take, didn't seem important.

The truck looks "troubled" on the trailer in the "before" pics. Keep it up. So sad to have lost your child, I just don't have the words. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 | nice color blue. what is it called? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 76 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 76 | the color was found under the gas neck filler gromet. my book calls it dark blue ditzler code 12409 for 65 chevy truck. curt | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 76 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 76 | | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 76 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 76 | you think you're computer challenged; my whife and kids handle most of my needs. curt | | |
