I suspect that all years might be pretty much the same, but don't know for sure. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy Old Gold, I believe it is 3/8" X 24 t.p.i., or as it is more popularly known 3/8" fine, hope that helps. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 424 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 424 | | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | ....just an idea. I run across this thread/bolt size question all the time working on my projects and I finally got me one of those little plastic guages with metric and SAE sizes on it for thread pitch and diameter and believe me, it is a handy dandy item. I use it religiously and it makes my trips to Ace Hardware much more pleasant. Its one of the most used tools in the shop besides my laminated chart of "thousandths to inches". | | |
