Should I go with a reproduction or one of the aftermarket ones. What is the easiest and most economical. I have looked at LMC and Brothers, also looked at the Painless Harnesses. Any suggestions. | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 426 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 426 | what year truck? gauges or warning lights? | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,262 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,262 | | | | | Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 35 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 35 | I have a 65 with gauges and I also have back up lights. | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 15 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 15 | Here is an excellent link from one of the "other" Chevy Sites. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=375602I too think you get what you pay for. Just try to buy USA made stuff, you will be happier. They are specific to the engine type and dash cluster, whether gauges or warning lights. They are "plug-n-play" with the correct connectors, wire colors and gauges. The entire wiring system is available, via 11 different harnesses, so you only have to purchase the harnesses that need attention.
