What should I use to re wire my truck. Should I go with a reproduction or one of the aftermarket ones. What is the easiest and most economical. I have looked at LMC and Brothers, also looked at the Painless Harnesses. Any suggestions.

Here is an excellent link from one of the "other" Chevy Sites.

I too think you get what you pay for. Just try to buy USA made stuff, you will be happier. Good luck, Taclem

I personally prefer the aftermarket factory reproductions wiring harnesses. They are specific to the engine type and dash cluster, whether gauges or warning lights. They are "plug-n-play" with the correct connectors, wire colors and gauges. The entire wiring system is available, via 11 different harnesses, so you only have to purchase the harnesses that need attention.

Try:

www.oldchevytrucks.com

There are many others, but I have personal experience with these...with positive results.
