#60554 05/16/2006 1:11 PM | Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 27 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 27 | Hey bolters, As some of you may know I took of my head to replace the head,manifold and all other gaskets om the head. when I flipped the hed over to inspect the valves three were cracked and all of them looked pretty bad .The cylinder walls looked great though. So I decided its time for a rebuild. The reason for doing this in the first place was because it poped or missed not really backfire.I also had a spare head and the machine shop said the original was cracked and the spare wasnt so the rebuilt it instead. Now it still does the same stuff? any suggestions.
If ain't broke Break it and fix it.
