Go to your local muffler shop and have them make one. Less money and you can have it done your way.

I had mine bent up at a local shop. I don't know why you would need a kit. Mine looks great.

You might try Waldron's Antique Exhaust,I was happy with mine, I live a long ways from a muffler shop.

If you are looking for a good place to go, I went to [censored]'s Hotrod Shop, located on County Road 70, east of Dodd. It is a part of [censored]'s Sanitation. The ownwer of [censored]'s Sanitation has a love of old cars and started a hot rod shop at the Sanitation site. I took my 46 there for exhaust this spring. It sounds like they took it off site to do the work, but I was VERY happy with the results. I could have probably done it myself, but sometimes, having others do the work is just easier.

Anyway..you can choose what you want as it is a rod shop and go with standard exhaust all the way up to stainless from front to back.

Stop in and talk to [censored]. He or his mechanics are usually in the shop during business hours. He is a square shooter and will tell you exactly what it will cost to get you what you want. He also has a bunch of cars to look at too!

Thanks for the replies, appreciate the advice. I will check out Waldron's and stop by Dicks's Hot Rod Shop. It's always interesting to see what these shops are working on. I was expecting to have the exhaust made, but since my truck is a Napco, I sort of would like to run the pipes myself. Sometimes exhaust shops tend to install what they have on-hand, which may not be exactly what you are looking for.

"46 in Progress," do you remember that house in Farmington on Pilot Knob that had about 6 or 7 old pickups in his yard? They were all in good shape, I haven't seen them there for a couple of years now, so I assume the owner moved.

All you have to do is tell them what you want.

If you run the pipes yourself (did that on my car), just make sure to use mandrel bends. Bending stuff on a bench will flatten them and restrict flow.

Donsz,

The only place I can think of was the place south of 182nd with the back yard on Pilot. The guy had a 10 or 12 John Deeres, a nice AD grain truck and a pot bellied pig. That guy did move. There was another guy on Flagstaff at 179th with several ADs and a couple of 41 cars. The cars are on CL (or were) and the trucks are all gone. The house is now for sale.

Anyways; [censored] will install whatever you tell him to. $$ is the limit. He likes his stuff "just so" and will make yours the same. I thought about doing stainless since I don't drive my truck that much. Once I heard the price diff, I went with the galvanized.
