So, I haven't had anything really cool to drive and play with for almost 40 years...family, college educations, recently a couple of bikes. Kids are grown now, college is paid for, bikes are almost gone and now I get to play again...heheh. Just bought a '41 Chevy Truck that was in pretty rough but workable condition. It had a Ford 302 (heaven forbid) that was fortunately all locked up. Replacing it with a 300 hp/350 and 350 Turbo, new interior and new paint and she'll be back to life and going down the road again. You guys all have some great looking rides out there...hope mine turns out to be half as nice as most of them.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Terry, Welcome to the 'bolt.
Great to see another old truck being given a 'transplant' and a new lease of life!
At least you won't have to worry about the truck rejecting it's new heart! wink

Thanks to everyone for all of the nice "welcome's)and encouragement's. The old girl is going to come together pretty fast I think. Most of the work being done was beyond my abilities but I have a great guy doing all of the hard stuff. I'll just tinker around with the "finishing" (is it ever finished?) touches after I get her home.
