You may have to special order them to get the size you need. There's a section in the catalog that's listed by size, OD, ID, and Hight, so you can look through there to find what you need.

Donaldson was starting the Batwing line a few years back that would have been a better filter, however it did not take off.

| | | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 319 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 319 | I'll throw in a word of caution about K&N's, and other gauze-type filters: they flow easier than paper elements because they have bigger "holes". To make sure they catch the dirt, they MUST be maintained...cleaned and re-oiled...regularly.
I've been running K&N's on my old Kawasaki motorcycle for some years now, and they're super. Once they get dirty and dry out, however, they let stuff through.
On my old truck, I wanted a larger filter than what is normally seen on 1-bbls. After the stupid plastic adapter squished, I made an aluminum one. Now I can run a 14" X 3" K&N, or any other 4-bbl air cleaner on my 1-bbl. Talk about breathing easier!

That said I think K&N are overpriced and don't justify the additional cost. Its like buying premium gas for your vehicle when its set up to run on regular. We just give someone else our hard earned dollars for an overpriced item.

Try Wix filters...they are made in the U.S. N.C. to be exact, NAPA filter are made by Wix as well.
Hank | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Just to retouch on this, there's nothing wrong at all with using a dry element filter, they're cheaper, easy to maintain, and do a very good job. Howver, if you have an oddball size filter, as mentioned in the original post, something like a K&N may be the better way to go. Since the K&N can be washed and reused, it takes out the need to special order an odd size or odd application filter every time it needs serviced. Think of it as being like the original oil bath air cleaners.
That's the reason I run them.
