Well except for the installation of 3 more chrome trim rings and a speedometer cable Betty is finaly strutting her stuff. Go to the url below for the latest pic.s on page 7.

I would like to thank all the prople who answered my many questions over the past 3 years. I probably could have done it without you but you guys made it much much easier.

I have one or two more pic's to take and then it's off to the good doctors garage she go's.

It will be sad to see her go but you should see whats comming next.

Very nice Toyvo.

Dave.

What's the last thing a red neck says, "Hey guys watch this."

Well done. One you can be proud of regardless of who drives it.

I just saw your truck for the first time. Super impressive. I can only hope my '46 comes out half as good when its done.

Just curious, how long have you owned it? Apparently you're selling it? I'd be sad to do it if it were mine; but it wouldn't last. The sale of one vehicle only means I get to go buy another!

How long did your full restoration take?

Very nice. I did one the same color combo and it ended up belonging to the man who was the head of Coca-Cola in Mexico at that time. Also hated to see it leave. That panel above the windshield for the passenger side wiper was one of the harder to find part. There is a reproduction snap in crank hole plug offered by one of the venders--I notice yours is missing. I can always spot a 41 by the park light lens being longer.

That is one beautiful truck. Now why are you getting rid of it? Were you restoring it for a doctor or something?

I may have not been clear about ownership on Betty. She belongs to a Dr. friend of mine. I was just the monkey fixing her up.
