No better time than now to work on it. I learned to drive in a 46 my grandfather used on the farm. Later I had a 46 but had to sell it back in 87 when my plant closed.

I have no idea what engine that would even be so this is kind of a long shot but parts are hard to find around here. I'm looking for a smaller head to put on my 292. If you happen to have a 194 head around or know where I could get one locally (and affordably) I would really appreciate it. Good luck with the truck, sounds like its going to be a real beast when you are done!

the only head that would have smaller chambers and fit the 292 is the 194, it also has smaller ports. your best bet is a simple lump-port conversion and a cam change.
