swaping out a 235 6 3 on tree for a 350 with 350 trans any reconmadations about mounts the truck is a 62 carryall

Don't. Next best option is go through a Rod & Custom magazine and you'll find a bunch of companies with kits to make it all fit properly.
Speed

Unless you are an ace fabricator or have a close relative, friend, inlaw that is, you are going to find that finding chassis parts that actually fit your 62 frame will be difficult and expensive. As you may know, they had a different frame (the "x" frame) from 60 -62. The 63 thru 87s all share the same "ladder" frame. Your 62 should also have torsion bar IFS that will also be difficult and expensive to change which you might have to due to clearance issues with crossmembers and the new tranny, etc.... Most upgrade kits available in the magazines apply for A.D. trucks, T.F. trucks and then 63 on. 60 -62s are just left out. I've also found out the hard way that many vendors sell parts, listed 60 - 66, since the trucks "look" the same. They really don't fit 60 - 62. So I agree with Speeds' 1st suggestion..

i have a 61 apache with a 350 in it. it was a 6 but already converted when i got her.it fits fine with rams horn manifolds and a front u shaped mount for the motor.no fab work needed at all to get the smallblock in not sure on your tranny.mine still has the 3 speed trans but i am in the process of installing a 396 and a t10 4speed.still researching my swap details....kt.

I’m planning to install 302 with a C4 trans into my 60 Chevy truck. Please don’t kick me out for doing this. Just wondering what problems I’m going to face. Also what’s a good Chevy motor to put in instead. The 302 is free and just rebuilt also the trans.

You can probably make the 302/auto. fit,the problem I forsee is the oil sump is on the wrong end on most Ford smallblocks.You'll at least have to buy an oil pan pump and pick up tube for a four wheel drive,and THAT may not give you enough clearance to make it fit. You'll also probably end up re-shaping the floor to clear your transmission. If you already have the '60's engine bay vacant,it wouldn't hurt to try setting it in,and see how it fits.
In all honesty,if it was me doing this,I'd sell the 302/auto. and buy a smallblock Chevy and maybe find a Saginaw 3 speed/Overdrive for it,I'm not sure what automatics will fit the '60-'63 frame. (BTW-if you find a Saginaw 4 speed.I'm told it's possible to install the three speed's overdrive on it. If you go this route,it's ALWAYS best to use the factory mounts if possible,same goes for linkages and brackets.This truck was available with a smallblock so try to use as much of the original hardware as you can. You should be able to make it fit and look like it was born there.
Speed

If this truck has the suspected torsion bar suspension, It was easier for me to buy a donor truck with all the right parts attached and weld the frames together, this way you eliminate lots of problems with suspension, steering and transmission mounts. worked slick.
