Hey guys,

I just replaced my steel wheels with some ralleys. Which look so much better in my opinion, they are wider too, giving the truck a better stance. I'm considering selling the original 6 lug steel wheels and the hubcaps. Wheels are in good shape, aren't bent or anything, and the caps are ok-ish. They are a bit dented up, and have some rust on them, especially on the insides. But I don't know if these parts are really worth anything. Do you guys think they are??

To the bolter who has none they will mean everything. Put an ad in the swap meet "Parts for Sale". Just a few days ago I think someone was looking for some for a 60'ish model. Don't throw them away!!!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

I've been looking awhile for a nice set with no curb damage or rust. Would prefer factory paint too. To me, they are worth twenty bucks each for a set of five ($100). They are not rare, but to find a set (5) has been harder than expected. Too bad you are so far away as shipping cost would kill any deal. Anyway, don't just toss 'em.

Hmm, ok, so they are worth something. Well, the rims have several layers of paint on them, one has a small curb dent, but can be banged out. Doug, I'll get some pics of those hubcaps as soon as I can...they definitely aren't perfect, but aren't really that bad either. They are original 1961 caps I believe...

Shipping expensive? Go Greyhound. And it seems as though the regular guys are coming down in price as well.
