Hello, I finished a 51 Chevy 5 window a couple years ago thanks to this site. I said I would not do it again, but of course I did. (Been saying that since the 60's and several cars and trucks later) This time I found a 54 Chevy 5 window and have it about half done. Still have to finish the bed sides and rear fenders. I have the rest in good shape. I can't work on the truck daily due to an old Vietnam neck injury. Had surgery and it is still acting up, pain every day for 40 years now and getting worse. So, I have to limit myself to working on the truck by myself a little at a time. I love old trucks and hopefully I can get it done. I'm 64 but still a kid with a new toy. This site has been my helper and I appreciate all the advise. If an old disabled vet can do it, anyone can. Thanks.

Welcome back Jon. You do realise this is a hard addiction to kick!
But then you already know that!

It's a bit like the line from the Eagles Hotel California, "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!"

Sorry to hear you're still paying a physical price for serving your country, even after all these years.
Just remember,Rome wasn't built in a day.
You'll get your new 'toy' done before you know it,and then there's the next one.....
This hobby/obsession does kinda get to ya though..... thumbs_up
Good luck
Jock.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
