I can look the engine up if you don't have any reference books or manuals. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 8 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 8 | Thanks turbo. Can't yet read all the tag but I can read rpos as 432a and 740j. I guess that is paint and trim. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | .... is there an engine in the truck? If so get the engine # and see if it coincides with the truck. That would be a good way to start. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 211 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 211 | It's probably got the 7.3 Powerstroke...BAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAHA God forbid!

And yes 432a and 740j are paint and trim codes.

The V8 engines mounted with side mounts. a bracket bolted to each side on the center of the crossmember. OldWolf | | |
