For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Have already replaced about 70% of body steel w/some still to go. I dropped in a 350 w/700 R4 trans, fortunatly the truck was an original auto so the switch was simple. I found an original air conditioner complete w/a windshield for fourty bucks. It's going to stay basically all original-no power anything and will have three rows of seats for the fam. I've been building and working on these trucks for about 15 years and this one has required alot of time and effort(or love-whichever) and is my 5th truck in these years. Photo Link: My 1963 Panel

Keep us posted. Oh, are you gonna paint it anything like a bread truck? Sounds like your doing your own thing here and that is perfectly alright. Its another one saved from the cookie, uh, I mean crushing monster. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 21 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 21 | Its going to be white on top including the top sides, and it will be some hue of green or blue on the bottom half..probably something understated...I clicked the link to photobucket for my images and it works.. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 321 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 321 | I got to the pics okay as well. Hmmm.. one of those things I guess. Jrqball, I am green with envy...lol... I have a thing for '63's and it does my heart good to see you putting all that effort into salvaging this panel. The result is going to be great, I can see that already. Keep up the good work!!!

How much did you lower it??
A friend of mine dropped by last week and to my surprise he came in a 63 panel. He had it sitting on a 78 4x4 chassis and it was coming along fine. You guys are making me want one now!!!
Keep us posted and thats some mighty fine work your doing. Its a shame you couldn't drop by my house when you came to Ga.
