Now he's had a succession of eye infections and surgeries and I don't know when he will drag himself to DMV and apply for a dupe. Since you have several hundred dollars invested (right??) in mechanical work. Tell the "technical" owner to ignore it, and the state will send a title to you after non payment of the bills that you submit for the work you have done.
