SM-420 transmission, PTO that driver a winch and a compressor. home-made wrecker bed and boom. engine is locked up, but was running 4 years ago. pretty rusty but no really bad damage. dents all over. should I buy it? anyone else want to buy it? is this worth a restoration effort? if nothing happens its likely to end up at the scrap yard, these people are clearing a 15 acre lot. suggestions are appreciated | | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 788 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 788 | more than likely a 292. 261 production terminated in 62 I believe

if mine had had a 292 and hyd brakes i would have hept it. Just wondering what you didn't like about the Air Brakes. My '62 GMC had Air Brakes and they worked great. Bill
