I cant recall ever seeing it in my stacks of manuals or on/in the trucks parked around my yard. All of which are in the 1940s to late 50s range. Go out to the yard and look at the hood of any of those AD trucks. Every one of them should have the bow tie symbol (in blue) on the front chrome piece, centered over the word 'Chevrolet.' You can see it on the front of my '48 Bowtie Emblen on an AD
