Traded it even for a walk in cooler, mine looks to be a mid 90's Komatsu with a Nissan 4 cylinder overhead valve regular gas engine. It's also rated to pick 6,000 lb. Still need to find a manual, and curious what year it really is. Grigg,
Do you have pictures of that Nissan/Datsun engine? I suspect it's an "E" engine which is a great engine. Let me know if you need and "help" with it, I've turned wrenches for Nissan for 22 years. I actually just replaced a headgasket on one of those a week or so ago, brought back memories of the early days, LOL,
Scott The lift is a model FG30HT-12 Type G Serial #501422A Can't find anything meaningful on the engine other than Nissan If it's an "E 1600" engine, those parts could be had from an 83-87 Sentra/Pulsar. If it's an "A" engine you would need to look at a 210/B210/510 type of car. Might even be a NAP "Z" 2400 engine too. Shoot me a picture, they're easy to distinguish from one another,

I believe a 210 model Datsun would get you the parts you need. That's a decent little engine but a little prone to blowing head gaskets. Easy to work on though,

What leads to head gasket problems, over heating, or??
I won't be working it very hard or long, so I'm not expecting any or much trouble out of it, but if there is something I need to watch out for it'd be good to know ahead of time.

They will start using anti-freeze and miss a little bit cold when they start to go. There's usually plenty of warning time,

From the serial number they said it is a 1997 model, and has a Nissan H25 engine. They even knew it has dual front tires.
They also said I can install air filled or foam filled tires that will get around the gravel lot a little better than the slick hard tires it has now.
