I have a 1951 chevy with a 53 235. what year s-10 should i be looking for? What are the gear ratios? what about hub bolt pattern? will my stock steel rims fit. I really want to keep my stock rims. How do i tell if it is posi or not?Any info would help. Or should i just look for 55-6-7 rear end as originally planned. thanks.

This will work well with a S10 T-5 trans because the od will give about a 3.08 final ratio and through the gears you'll have plenty of pulling power for hills.
