I was told the spring on the window reglator has lost it's tension and will not keep the window up! I know Carter's has a regulator kit, but all it is, is part of the drive gear mechanism! I really need the spring for each window that are in good shape!
Where can they be bought or found! I have a couple of complete assemblies, but they have the same problem!

There is a spring inside that assembly that holds the tension on the regulator to keep the knob from turning due to the weight of the window. The weight of the handle and the bouncing of the truck going down the road will drop the window some. If the handle is already in the 2o-clock to 5o-clock position when moving this will help keep it tight.
