on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 121 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 121 | Picked up a 55 2nd series last week. Original Ca. truck, big back window, with the 235 and 3 on the tree that went to Cincinatti, Okanagan Falls B.C. and I aquired it out of Calgary Alberta. Fairly original except paint color. Drove it home last week and all was going well until the drivers front wheel decided to leave the axle. I thought it was a wheel bearing and had a block to go untill I was stopped for the night. Guess I should have stopped earlier. Tagged the fender on the departure and had to replace 6 studs but managed to get it the rest of the way home. Looking for parts to make it closer to stock. Had a 56 many years ago and always wanted another. Also have a Deuce Roadster that is more of a project so the 55 will fill the gap until its on the road.

One is 37chevytruckguy (Trevor) who lives in Surrey so look him up. I think he knows a few more and they get together fairly regular...I think.

Your '32 sounds like an interesting little project ! | | | | | Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 121 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 121 | I am in Guildford. Deuce is an interesting project for sure and if I could find the time and money to finish, it would be even better. A friend of mine back east has a 39 with a small block in it. Spent many nights wrenching on it with him.

I drove mine home 250 miles and once I made it home and got to digging into it a little bit I am surprised I even made it- without losing a wheel, or breaking a rad hose, or how the brakes managed to not go out!
Good luck on your project. Cant wait to see some pics! | | | | | Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 121 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 121 | I would post some pics if I could figure out how to...not that computer literate.
