The thing I don't like in the last LMC catalog I received is their warning that these panels are made elsewhere and often travel great distances to get to you, so you should be prepared to do some bodywork on them.
If I am buying new panels I don't want to hammering and dollying them.

All those things are made by one company who sells them to anyone with the cash. Fit is iffy. Some minor dings are to be expected. Crunched parts are not acceptable.

Do your research and shop around, Brothers is notorious for high prices.

They are all alike and come from the same little shop in Hong Kong.
I personally like LMC for the ease in ordering. The catalog shows each part in relationship to the rest of the vehicle. That keeps me from buying too much wrong stuff.

My understanding of the deal is that one or two companies in Taiwan bought the old dies from GM and provide all the US vendors (LMC, Brothers, etc.) with most of the replacement sheet metal. The fit of the offshore stuff is poor at best, downright unusable at worst. I got a left side fender from Dynacorn that is so bad (the crease line is off by at least 3/4") I can't use it. The front of the doors don't match the contour of the fender, and the gap between the door and fender was uneven. If you can, make every effort to revive your old parts and avoid using the offshore junk. And even then, the offshore patch panels need a LOT of help.

well, you guys are all really scaring me about the sheet metal parts! I have a whole winters worth of cutting, welding and filling. I have bought parts from two venders,LMC, Classic Chevy(Chevy Duty) and they seem to be close. Hopefully when I start on the truck I won't have any serious fit issues.
good luck!
