On my 1940 I used a bench seat out of a mid 80's Ford Ranger. It fit perfectly. I made mounts out of 1 1/2" square tubing and bolted it to the apron that goes around the gas tank. The truck did have the original recovered seat in it, but it was so uncomfortable,I had to change it. I have pictures of it on page 2 of my webshots album.
