I made up a sheet metal floor here. I have maybe 6-8 hours time into fabricating and looks fairly orginal. May be an option for you. It worked OK but I don't think it saw much water here in So. Cal. I replaced it with an after market fiberglass one. It works fine.
If you want to save some money I'd say go with wood, at least until you can do something else.

So, use the money wisely and get a fiberglass one....OR if you have an old one to go by let a Heating and Air make you one in their sheet metal shop. I had one made not to long ago and it only cost me $25. I drilled the holes and it worked really nice......and if you "know someone" you can probably get it cheaper than that!
Do it once...do it right. Even if it takes longer. | | |
