Why mess with something that works, and spend 3 times the money to boot?

Disconnect fuel line at the carb, run a hose to a jar and crank the motor. Should see plenty of gas. If that's ok it time to go through a tune up.
Get a shop manual and go through the tune up proceedures. You'll be money ahead and really find the problem. Just swapping out parts we called "Easter Egging" in the Navy. | | |

Mine would over power the float and run raw gas into the block. If you have a newer carb, Never mind.

Gotta pull the sender out & fish it thru w/wire, seems air pressure won't do it. Brian | | |
