| | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 103 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 103 | I installed a GM 10 bolt rear end in my 41 3/4 ton long bed and I was wondering if the stock parking brake cable would work with the drum brakes on my rear end. The guy I bought the rear end from says it is from a 75 camaro. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You may have to fab something up to make it work. it would work on my 51 because thats what I have. Of course my E brake is foot operated and yours may be attached to the tranny. If it is it should be pretty easy to make it work. If not you can always carry a chock or two.
