Almost any dealer that sells truck drive train could help. I use Drive Shafts Unlimited in San Antonio for such things like this. Even though SA is quite a distance. Postage wouldn't be much. However, take a close look at the shaft. If it is anything less than perfect, it won't hold a seal. Sometimes it's just cheaper to buy another PTO. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,276 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,276 | If you inspect the seal you should find some numbers on the seal its self something like CR-1424 if you take this number to a bearing house they should be able to find you a replacement. Take the seal with you this should also help so if the numbers don't match there books they should be able to match it by its OD, ID, and width. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 207 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 207 | i didn't want to drain all of the oil out until i had to because i usually have to go out in the middle of the night to help someone but i ended up doing it anyways so I'll take the seal into town today. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 | 46Chevy.... In BC it's DANCO Equipment in Surrey. 604-888-0513. They are the Parker(Chelsea) PTO reps in western CN and have access to Muncie as well. | | |
