Using an inline 292 with NV4500 5speed overdrive transmission. What is a good donor for hanging pedals? I need something which has power brake booster as well as hydraulic master for clutch. There are some "bolt-in pedal kits" out there, but kinda pricey. What can I use from a donor vehicle and modify for my truck. By the way, I'm using the original steering column if that makes any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated [email protected]

You will have to add support metal and maybe a bracket or two, if not you could break out the firewall. There are plenty of good kits for under the cab. It may seem like a lot money now, but two or three years from now when you are driving down the road, you won't even know you spent the money. Your brakes are the most important item on the truck, don't cut corners, do it once and do it the right way!!  Joe | | |

If I remember right I used the pedal system from a early 70's Nova on my cpe. there are a lot of different choices out there just make sure they run back to the dash. | | |
