Hello,
I am planning on rebuilding a 347 for my GMC and need some help on where to buy parts for it.
Has anyone built one? If so, is there any problems doing this motor.
Also, I need an exhaust for this. I have the manifolds and need the cross pipe, muffler, and pipes.
Thank you for your help,
Bob

i've never built an engine like yours but maybe i can get you on the "hunt". Try egge.com and see what their kits run. i've never dealt with them but hear they are good. I would also check around the parts houses. you would be surprised what the likes of NAPA or Carquest can come up with. As for the pipes i suggest a local shop that does this for a living. They can do it for less than you can buy the pipes and they are custom made. Saves you the skinned knuckles on this one smile

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

It's a Poncho, so check oout the poncho sites. I think Kanter may have some stuff but Egge is probably your best bet. Did you score the motor off ebay I sent you?
