If the axles are original, which may have been changed one or more times in the last 55 years, they should be Huck style. 52-53 is when the changed happened so you'll have to tear in to them to know for sure.

Two wheel cylinders per side in the rear is different....

The easiest way to tell is to look for the adjustment holes on the front (to the left and right of the Wh Cyl attaching bolts) and the bigger bolts with a spring under them for the rear. Thats how the hucks were adjusted. If all you see is 2 small bolts then you have bendix, no adjustment to the wheel cylinder necessary.
