This is one of the best if not the best thorough detailed journal of the work done from start to finish on a 53 AD. He found a totaled 98 Z-28 with an LS1 engine which he cannibalized the engine, tranny, rear, etc. http://fenske.net/53chevy/index.html

Someone sent me the link. I was hoping their was some contact information so that we could include his sight in our links, his truck in our Gallery, and / or his write-up in the Tech Tip Featured Projects. It probably would interest a lot of folks.
But I didn't want to do it without asking permission. Even the link.
So, if any one knows who this is, see if he'll contact us!
Thanks, Peg
