It runs good, but I have not done a compression check. Does that sound like a good deal? I could use that $800 to have the floorboards and other welding work done on my cab and stick to the old 305 I have. Decisions, decisions.

If it was just a builder, I'd say no. But if you can verify that it's a decent runner, then sure, that's a nice deal.

I will get the casting numbers off the back of the block and dig further. I'm leaning to the 305 and just wait until I have the money for a 383. Thanks!!
