They have a trans cooler and an A/C condenser. I'd like to hear from anyone using one. Specific questions: Is the A/C condenser mounted to the radiator or is it a separate unit? The condenser is what I'm interested in. I've been trying to get my A/C going since July. The low side goes to zero at running rpms. I'm thinking a restriction in the condenser.
My radiator cools great but its a '61 radiator that the previous owner made mount holes in with a torch. My trans cooler is a separate unit mounted behind the radiator. You would mount it in front of the radiator. They had some nice looking radiators there. What kind of A/C are you installing ? and which kind of metering device has it got ? It sounds like your restriction is in the metering device.

I also have a 56 and will be going to install a VintageAir A/C in it. I've been trying to figure out the radiator situation, so I too am interested in Walker. I would like to stick with the mechanical fan as the the VintageAir condenser mounts to the front of the radiator. One note to consider, I called Walker and they do not make a fan shroud designed for a 56 with a mechanical fan. Apparently, as I was told, they don't have the demand for a mechanical fan shroud for Task Force trucks. They have a CCI-40 shroud, but I "beleive" it's for an electric fan application.
My issue is I need to cool the engine now, so I can drive it and not wait until I have to rewire the truck to include an electric fan.
