It will have the interior painted and I will be able to plug all the holes on the firewall and get it ready for outside paint. I see on Brothers website they offer both rubber and urethane cab mounts. It seems like I recall someone saying that urethane will squeak less than rubber. What's the preferred choice here?

As for the squeaking I have never had that problem on any truck. I think some are "prone" to squeak because of several reasons. Rubber is somehow exposed to weather conditins ect ect.....and it seems some models just seem to squeak.....like the bushings in my 58 Impala and even more recent I've noticed my friends and other Blazer's seem to have that squeaky problem up front!
I would say it depends on the quality of the product.

I am by no means an expert put achipmunk talks about his rubber bussings getting old and dried out. Polyurethane bushings are much less likely to do that. They probably won't be as soft as rubber and that may effect ride quality.I would go with the poly personaly as I like the durability

Some Newer advances do last longer than the Old stuff.
Rubber-vrs-Poly ...over time the Poly will always win out.
