It could even be a broken motor mount. Good luck with it, atleast on these old trucks it's fairly simple to diagnose and fix! | | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 1,418 ODSS Lawman | | ODSS Lawman Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 1,418 | With the ifo given, I would lean on a broken shock. Find a speed bump in a local parking lot and see if you get multiple clunks....
SWEET Sergeant At Arms: Old Dominion Stovebolt Society BUNS?!?!?!Where we're going, we don't need no buns.....1950 GMC 450 1951 Chevy 1/2-TonThe GreenMachineIn the Stovebolt Gallery | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 Master Gabster | | Master Gabster Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 | Reminds me of my high school years when a friend of mine had some problem under the hood that you could not see or hear without the truck - an old Dodge- in motion. We got a Jr. high kid who was walking past the parking lot and convinced him to crawl under the hood and ride there while we "got her up to 40+ mph". He didn't see or hear the problem, he was too busy screaming after he burnt himself on the exhaust. Kids are crazy...
