My campell Hausfeld air wrench that has 380 lbs of torque struggles on some bolts. I was thinking of getting this one made by ingersoll rand that has 600 lbs of torque.

I have several IR tools and they are absolutely top-notch. For the home hobbyist they are almost overkill. A wrench like that should last you forever. Nice thing about them is they sell comlete rebuild kits for almost everything they make if something does go wrong.

I used to have an Ingersol Rand 1/2 inch impact wrench. I purchased it used in around 1972,for $75. and used the he// out iof it for 20 years. I then sold it to a friend for $75. and it is still going strong.I now have a Jet 1/2 inch impact, that I bought new for around $50.It does the job,.but it aint half the wrench the I/R was.

Good gun. Basicly that standard that most are compared to. A little heavy for my tastes, though, but then again, I'm used to it's very nasty brother, the IR 2135ti. 1000 ft/lbs and only wheighs 3.8 pounds.
