Most SBC have them on the head. It could be either side, most of the time they put it on the driverside.

#26697 07/10/2004 6:01 PM | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 259 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 259 | If your not sure if you have the right sender then just turn the key to the on position and have someone look at the gauges while you take the wire off the sender and touch the wire to metal. This will cause the light to turn on.
