If I could find a decent '63 to '66 Suburban that isn't rusted to the ground, I would join you. Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm 'burb equipped,
Scott

Hooray Tony!

Now we can talk about issues specific to our trucks without losing them in the ground clutter of the other forums.

My latest endeavor is the disassembly, refurbishing and reassembly of the hardware that latches my rear doors. I just bought a sandblasting cabinet and hope to get some stuff cleaned up enough to get them back together soon.

(It's a garage queen right now anyway until I find time to get the gas tank replaced. Got all the parts except the gas cap and the body grommet. In about six weeks I get three weeks off school, so I hope to get some stuff done then.)

Got the forum... now all I need is that \'55-59 3100 Panel . smile

[EDIT:]

...actually... been looking for another set of wheels in which to haul folks. Why just last evening I heard an utterance which totally astounded me. It sounded something like this: "I think that an early Mustang might be nice to have."

Holy Schnikeees! I guess that selling the '66 GT was a mistake after all!

Hey folks -- a 'Burb is a far cry from a Mustang but it's a step in the right direction!

...but maybe it -WAS- a dream.
