ok folks, i think we can do this. driving between weatherford and corsicana, texas today, i saw a 1955 2nd+(blue) off the road next to a barn on (tx171) and a chevy sedan deliver 1949-50 on tx 31 east of hubbard, tx, sitting by the road. now, if somebody would go and knock on the door. i think this information could help a person who is looking for a sedan deliver/panel truck. this thread is for sightings, please no ads.

Just north of Sunray, TX is a field with a 1954 GMC 1/2 ton, a early 1950s Chevy, a Studebaker truck, a 1953 Chevy car, and an AD suburban. I have been told of people getting guns pointed at them just for going out in that field to look at these old vehicles. I heard that have been tied up in an inheritance battle for years. It sucks, I want them... all of them!

a 1942 or maybe its a 46 is sitting right off interstate 85 near mile marker 84.(Between Spartanburg and Gaffney S.C.) I want it but scared to stop and ask..... its the wifey I'm scared of :p I have to get rid of some before I can bring another one home! It looks "decent" from a distance. I planned to check on it this week but haven't had time. Maybe I'll check it out tomorrow as I have to go that way.... and take my checkbook. The wife will never know as long as I keep it in storage somewhere.

joker.... I've got it listed in the "non-GM" site at a BARGAIN!! I really want that panel..so much so I would put the fenders back on the 40 sedan and let it go. She can haul more groceries in a panel... Today is the day. I'm heading that way this afternoon and will report tonight!!!

I have seen a 60's Chevy Panel sitting up by some bigger trucks up off the road, with a for sale sign in it. Been there for weeks now on Beavercreek Road, in Oregon City. It is somewhat out of sight.

If you missed my reply earlier I finally got to talk to the fellow and look at the 48 mentioned above. It is in rough shape. Even the top is rusted through. It would make a good truck for a few good parts. The rear doors appear to be the best and since the fellow has been offered $400 for the rear doors he is asking $1000 for the entire truck. I suppose someone will buy it at some price but its past me.

OK, I'm going to do this but you guys are going to cry your eyes out. Just west of Temple, TX off HWY 36 there is a blink your eye town called Moffet. On the east side of town on the main street(only street) there is about a 1 acre plot. Now this isn't just a plot of land, no it's full, and I mean FULL of late 30's to early 50's Panels, Truck's and Cars!!!!! With just 2 paths to get around the lot because its so full. Allot of them are GM but there are others in there too. I saw 5 Chevy/GMC panels '38 to '47 sitting side by side. Many, many of them are complete vehicles just sitting there. The owner lives in Temple with his son(if he's still alive) I had his number once, got it from the guy that lives on the east side of the lot. Now I will tell you the son will sell them but he thinks he's got a super gold mine and is very, VERY, VERY high on any price. He will not part them out only complete vehicles.
Told you were gonna cry grin

Sounds like the yard in Sanger, Texas. He advertises in several magazines. He thinks he has the last remaining part to anything you can imagine and I'd never buy from this guy, ever! He is convinced everything he has is made of gold, but people buy from this knucklehead anyway. Another all-Mopar yard in Oklahoma City is the same way; haven't bought from him since 1982! Driven by greed, that's all I can say! If they can help you out, it'll definitely cost you! I'm trying to restore a freakin' pickup, not a Ferrari!

I was flipping channels the other night and just about fainted when I saw a big ol' AD panel in a high speed chase.

Turns out it was the movie "harry and the hendersons." Old bigfoot-moves in with family-flick.

Here's a tip guys. Never let a sasquatch get into your truck. Much body-work will follow.

In todays Fort Worth paper there is an ad for a 1970 suburban for $1500.
Tony, I saw that 54 school bus in Annetta.
