HERE is what I started with. THIS is in pieces, DONE at last. I finished it with a couple good coats of Sikkins urethane and it looks pretty good. If you look close there is still a slight bow in the center, but its not going to be in any shows so for a daily driver it is perfect.

That is priceless. It is as bad as the pedal fix I had on my 37. If it's broke, smash a pipe slide it over the shaft and pound the pedal into the pipe, whats an inch or so?? Ha!
