it is a 1964 chevy c10 short stepside 2wd the body is in pretty good shape only rust is in the drivers side floorboard and is not bad only a very small hole. the bed metal is in good shape. but the wood is gone and needs new. all electrical works except the cig lighter. the tale/brake lights are not original they were bought at kragens and work great. it has a new clarion cd player in the dash and two nice 6x9 speakers in the door the seat is in good condition.

thanks.

also ask any other Qs you need to, to figure out wat its worth.also i live in northern califonia.

So many people post the same question....
This is the first one I have actually looked at, because I don't think that this is the right place to ask, or to get an accurate answer.

To be fair we would have to see it in person.

The real trick is finding someone that will give you money for it, that sets the value.
People may say it's worth $15,000, or whatever imaginary number, but it's not until someone offers you that much.

I suggest you search eBay for completed sales of trucks in like condition and in the same area of the country, as that makes a difference too.
I have found eBay to be a good indicator of possible value. When you list it and it sells you will know the actual value, at least on that day.

It is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.A sugestion,go to your local news stand and pick up a copy of Old Cars Price Guide, cost about 5 bucks. They also list pickup trucks and have them broke down into about 5 grades. This will give you a good idea for where to set a price on it.

I know in my case , I WILL PROBABLY NEVER GET WHAT I HAVE INVESTED , so that is why it will go to my youngest the other 2 boys already got , maybe he will treat her well after I am gone ....sellin stuff i hate everyone wants it , but dont understand the amount of $ /time involved ...same with my restored 67 Triumph Motorcycle , there are tons of folks that ask to buy it ..but they cant get the price , heck if i figured it all out i would be takin a loss no matter what ..so i blow em all off an will just give em to my boys ...

check the collector car trader too... they will give you the average, high and low prices if there are more than a few for sale.

Travis:

Put a For Sale sign on it, with your asking price and you will see what it will yeild. Also, you can post it on www.craigslist.com in your area, with your asking price and get a good indicator of its value. Another good site for old Chevy trucks is: www.oldchevytruck.com. I also suggest the local Truck Trader.

The well optioned '64-'66 Chevy trucks will bring more than the standard equipped trucks of the same era. Some of the more rare options include:

Factory V8 and AC

Factory A/C, Deluxe Steering Wheel, Gauges, Tach & AM Radio

Chrome Grille & Bumper

Short Wheel Base Fleetside with Big Back Window

There are many elements that determine the value of the truck, including factory/dealer options, mileage, sheet metal condition, mechanical condition, year/make/model and desireability. I have several '64-'66 Chevy trucks in my collection and they range from bone-stock standard equipped daily drivers to very well-optioned, rare, low mileage lookers.

I hope this information is helpful in determining the value of your truck.

Tony

y mine is the basic model the only thing it came with was the v8 283 and the short fleetside bt both of those are gone now. it now has a short stepside and a v8 350.

I took a look at your trucks all are very nice, great collection.
